台灣國際民主誌影展（TIDFF）主要是以影像做民主公民教育之載體，突破城鄉與貧富之藩籬，以遊牧式的巡迴，結合映後與談講座，期望從影像作品中與觀眾對話，並發現、看見與理解世界各區域的民主人權概況與發展。
本場次播映「全面監視」，談論過去二十年，中國如何持續利用智慧科技打造巨量資料的監視世界，而大疫情後更助長此項發展，從天網系統、再到全境的社區網路，後面更延伸至社會信用系統，中國一步步的強化社會監控。本片由近距離採訪三個人權受迫案件，一窺極權政府全天候監控的恐怖日常。

TIDFF主要為舉辦巡迴電影節與影展講座結合成互動式的游牧影展，除了讓台灣及海外地方人士，藉由影片理解民主自由的可貴外，也希望藉由影片的放映，讓本影展可以成為國內在地的藝術倡議發展以及與國外影視作品交流的重要社團之一，兼具影視藝文活動及發揚台灣人文民主，推廣多元文化為本影展目標。除此之外，也希望藉由影展的藝文推廣，向世界展現台灣有絕對足夠的條件成為推動亞洲影片創作與播放的的自由島。

<為什麼要來網路自由小聚?>
身在台灣的我們，或許對於網路自由反而比較無感，因為跟世界上許多地方相比，台灣的網路世界相對自由、較沒受到監控、管制和侵害，因此沒有深刻感受到國際上疾呼且捍衛網路自由的結迫性。
然而，現代數位社會，一言一行早已跨越國界，人人都應該要關心自身在數位世界上的權利。
大家一起來小聚聊聊，認識更多全球重要網路自由課題 !!!!!!

About the movie : TOTAL TRUST (2023)
Is a documentary about two families fight for justice from within the digital prison of the Chinese survelliance state. It is the first major film that intimately portrays courageous people living in China’s increasingly monitored society. By the support from TIDFF, Internet Freedom Meetup is honored to introduce this film to all, and have a chat after the film.
Who is TIDFF / Yi-ting Wu?
Taiwan International Democratic Film Festival (TIDFF) is a film festival brand to promote democracy public eduction by film sharing. By organizing film festival normatically in all cities and areas, TIDFF is an unique film festival that can break the barrier between urban and remote area, also break the gap between status and wealth. Through playing the film and after-talk with audience, TIDFF expect all participants can gain more understandings in the democracy situation all over the world.
Yi-ting Wu is independent digital security researcher and activist for transgender's rights.

We are a group of individuals in Taiwan who are interested/cared/curioused about digital rights, internet privacy , digital security and open source promotion. Since 2019, every third Thursday of the month, by the topic voted from members, we orgnized hybrid meetup to chat and exchange thoughts all together.
